Waves and Ocean? It's our passion.

“Derek Stuart was amazing! It was our family’s first visit to Hawaii, so we left everything in his hands to plan and execute. What we got exceeded our imagination: one day spent snorkeling (also a first for us, so Derek took the time to secure gear and give us an expert lesson) in three very different locations - two of which we were the only ones in the water.
We floated over beautiful coral reefs, colorful diverse fish, and went searching for and wondrous sea turtles. Another day, Derek took us to the Volcanos and brought us to lesser known spots and geological marvels where, again, we were the only ones in sight, so at times we felt as if we were standing on another planet.
Finally, one afternoon, Derek gave mom and dad a break and took our kids (8 & 13) for the afternoon to practice archery and build marshmallow guns (out of PVC pipe pieces that pulled apart for return air travel).
Our kids also made fast friends with Derek’s lovely twin teenage boys.

Not only is Derek an expert guide, swimmer and trekker, he’s also a warm, gregarious person. He was sensitive to our needs and really listened to what we wanted out of the trip. In the end, we felt as though we were shown around that beautiful island by an old friend.”
